AUDIOSCROBBLER IS GHEY.i kind of hate having something keep track of what i listen to. i always feel like i need to even out my music tastes, to remind myself and everyone else that i love the velvet underground just (almost?) as much as i love radiohead.thom yorke on "kid a": The lyrics are absolutely brutal and horrible and I wouldn't be able to sing them straight. But talking them and having them vocodered through Johnny's Ondes Martenot, so that I wasn't even responsible for the melody...that was great, it felt like you're not answering to this thing. kdl;dp93ywjn,v;posiqow i read that last night and it's PROBABLY THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD.can i die now? how is this band so good?cat made a pimpass mp3 blog: colaplay, named after the BEST TYPO EVER.so i bought this bag of sugar snap peas at safeway, and usually, sugar snap peas = awesome, right? but most of these are kind of gross-looking and it makes me make this face ;_;i ran into elena today and we sat in the massage chairs at--...the store with the massage chairs.

i know what you mean about evening things out. my top artist is the decemberists now... like waaaay over morrissey and the smiths, and this makes me really sad and embarassed for some gay reason.
i think i get sad and embarassed whenever someone new tops my list. weird.audioscrobbler tells me i've listened to the decemberists 210 times in a week.

tru facts!here is something you will learn about thom. he does not make sense. ever. especially with lyrics. i mean, did you ever hear that spiel on how intensely intense the lyrics to "street spirit" were, and how he has to stay detached from them or it will crush his soul, and how nobody in the audience gets the pure soul-crushing intensity of the song if they're enjoying listening to the song because it is about staring the devil in the face or something...and how he was laughing about the lyrics "yesterday i woke up sucking a lemon". like...he was asked to comment on them and he said "they make me laugh". he's so lolz!
yeah, and that's not counting the five (or so) times i listened to picaresque in my cd player.WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME.
yeah, and i love it. i love that i don't understand most of his lyrics.
Audioscrobbler sucks! Not only is it really not accurate (manics' "yes" is not my top song. and i've listened to other bands on my computer more than i have suede. whatever.), it goes down from time to time, so it's not as if half the music will even register. Oh, yeah, and my google links are for Hilary Duff. Awesome.That's it. I'm jumping on the mp3 blog-wagon...probably?

i just saw the band tonight at slim's and they were incredible. they opened with "unconditional" and i got to see the boys backstage. they are breathtakingly beautiful. i haven't had so much fun at a show in forever. do not miss a chance to catch them live. AND FUCK BRANDON FLOWERS. the killers are not very genuine at all....the bravery are signed because they're great.
